Every year, Lighthouse of Oakland County hosts its annual Thanksgiving project to provide food for those in need. This year Quicken Loans team members reached out to help this worthy two- day project.  On Saturday November 19th, and Monday, November 21, 40 Diff Makers packed and distributed Thanksgiving food boxes for families in need.

Boxes were packed according to family size and our team successfully distributed the boxes to over 60 families within the community. At Lighthouse of Oakland County, low income families and senior citizens are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the project which provides more than 4000 people with a warm Thanksgiving dinner each year.

Along with volunteers from Quicken Loans, we also had a chance to meet some local residents who decided drop by to lend a hand. One of the volunteers told us how thankful she is for Lighthouse of Oakland County, when she was in need of assistance Lighthouse was there for her and family.

Quicken Loans was very happy to be able to volunteer and help pay for the turkeys for this Thanksgiving outreach that helped so many.
